The latest entrant in the mobile segment, the Mobiado Grand Touch Aston Martin phone claims to proffer a sophisticated solution to users looking to make a style statement. It combines form and beauty with mobile functionality and comes in five different variants drenched in shades of black, silver, yellow gold and rose gold.

The phone can be picked up in versions of mother of pearl (MOP) and ebony wood. Carved out of solid aircraft aluminum, it undergoes CNC machining which creates a surface with curves to straight line edges and is anodized for elegance as well as durability for enduring everyday use. The gold version plated with rose or yellow gold, is CNC machined using brass. Its battery cover and buttons are made out of sapphire crystals, while gun metal stainless steel is used for the screws.

This unlocked phone comes with quad band GSM and lends support to the HSDPA network, WLAN and GPS navigation. Equipped with a 5MP camera with LED flash, it flaunts an S-LCD capacitive display that provides a multi-touch real estate of 4 inches. The device is capable of reproducing images in 480 x 800p resolutions and has been deployed with an accelerometer, a proximity sensor and a gyro sensor amongst others.

The multimedia-ready Mobiado device also takes care of on-to-go entertainment with its A/V player that plays back formats including MP3, WAV, eAAC, MP4, H.263 and more. The handset’s communication options are inclusive of Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and EDR along with Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE. The 3.5mm headphone jack ensures connection to a number of audio accessories.

The Mobiado Grand Touch Aston Martin release date and price have not been revealed. It should work in regions like Asia-Pacific, North America, South America, Europe and Africa, owing to its GSM connectivity.
