The Huawei Ascend Q should delight music lovers with its DTS audio technology and the Muve Music feature by Cricket. The Gingerbread-powered handset is also the carrier’s first device to offer a bar configured QWERTY keyboard as well as a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen.

Built around the dimensions of 4.8mm x 2.3mm x 0.5mm, the Ascend Q weighs nearly 4.6oz. While a 3.2-inch TFT display graces its front panel, the flip side bears a 3.2MP camera with zoom and video recording capabilities. It draws multitasking abilities from an 800MHz processor and the unspecified internal memory can expand up to 32GB via a microSD card. In case of emergencies, users will receive SMS alerts on their handsets through the incorporated CMAS feature.

“Cricket customers enjoy variety and features that empower them to stay socially connected. The Huawei Ascend Q smartphone is an exciting addition to our growing value-driven smartphone device lineup,” remarked Matt Stoiber, senior vice president, devices for Cricket. “Our customers will love how this device truly enhances the data input and Muve Music listening experience with both a QWERTY and touchscreen keyboard and DTS audio technology.”
