Sony Ericsson Live With WalkmanThe latest musical smartphone is the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman running on Android 2.3. According to the official Sony Ericsson product blog, its highlight is the dedicated Walkman button which allows immediate access to the music player.

The new smartphone features deep Facebook integration that enables access to the popular social networking site via the most used areas of the phone like the picture gallery, music player, phonebook and calendar. The company’s Qriocity service offers media content such as music and video through the infinite button which provides music lovers with information about their favorite artist, music videos and lyrics.

Running on a1Ghz processor, this handset features a 3.2-inch capacitive screen and a 5MP front-facing AF camera for capturing 720p HD video. It supports Bluetooth stereo and lets users experience innumerable Android apps from the app market along with access to Google Mail, Google Voice Search, Google Talk, Google Latitude, Google Maps and YouTube.

With a QWERTY keypad, the Wi-Fi enabled smartphone comes integrated with Sony’s xLOUD technology which supposedly improves the audio quality through the device’s built-in speakers. The blog reveals that this smartphone also possesses the TrackID feature that identifies the music track users are listening to within the FM radio and music player. The specific track can then be instantly shared or downloaded.

The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is scheduled to be available globally in select markets from the fourth quarter of this year in black and white colors. Its exact pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed.
