Sleek Motorola Razr smartphone makes its way into India

Only recently we reported that Motorola Razr is set to make an appearance in India and this curvaceous and durable smartphone has finally toddled in the country. After hitting the availability status at Letsbuy, the device is up for grabs through select stores across the country.

The handset features a sculpted glass face and diamond-cut aluminum accents while its front panel is dominated by multi-touch Super AMOLED Advanced display spanning 4.3 inches. This touchscreen with Kevlar Fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass is capable of withstanding scratches as well as spills due to its splash-guard coating. The device acquires its multitasking capabilities from a dual-core processor that runs at a speed of 1.2GHz in addition to a 1GB RAM.

The Android Gingerbread platform deployed in the Motorola Razr smartphone allows users to enjoy a swift and intuitive interface. Along with a front-facing HD webcam of 720p resolution, the phone is fitted with a powerful 8MP rear-facing camera. This primary snapper boasts of image stabilization and records high definition videos of 1080 pixel resolutions.

Complete with a music player, the device can be used to send emails. It is pre-loaded with the Smart Actions app which automatically turns the ringer down at work and switches the Bluetooth and GPS off as users reach home. Besides saving up on battery, the application also sends text messages to people in case the user misses their calls. Also included is the MotoCast application to facilitate streaming media content from PC systems, wirelessly.

The Motorola Razr smartphone, priced at Rs. 35,990 is available through select retailers for a discounted Best Buy price of Rs. 33,990.
