The LG Optimus smartphone is now available in India on Letsbuy at a competitive price. The device which extends the Optimus range of the company is also highlighted as the first glasses free 3D smartphone worldwide.
While a Gingerbread upgrade is now available, the device was originally released with the Android version 2.2 Froyo operating system. With this handset, the company also boasts of tri-dual technology with dual-core, dual-channel and dual-memory. The 3D handset is not only designed to enjoy video viewing in 3D but also allows 3D HD real time recording.
The Optimus 3D is powered with a 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 SoC processor along with a PowerVR SGX540 304MHz GPU. the device offers a 5MP main camera while a front facing VGA one as well. The 4.3-inch AutoStereoscopic full touchscreen integrated with Parallax Barrier technology offers a glasses-free 3D display experience. With a 3D hot key, the handset allows switching seamlessly from 2D to 3D viewing modes.
Along with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, the device also acts as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Other than this, it also allows GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, and DLNA connectivity.
