BlackBerry Bold 9900 heads to T-Mobile for release this month

The recently launched Blackberry Bold 9900 smartphone has already made its way to India and is soon slated to be available from T-Mobile in the U.S. Being the first Blackberry handset to run on the company’s 4G network, business users on T-Mobile are currently given an exclusive opportunity to pre-order the device before its public release on August 31.
Powered by the latest Blackberry 7 OS from RIM, the handset is equipped with a 1.2GHz processor, the Liquid Graphics technology and a 2.8-inch TFT LCD screen alongside its QWERTY keypad and offerings like communication and multimedia features, all in a thin 10.5mm body. Also, stated to be the slimmest smartphone from Blackberry, the device packs-in the next-generation web browser with high support for HTML 5 along with convenience in navigation through the touch-enabled display.

With the company’s 4G network, users can enjoy high-speed downloads from the Blackberry App World and quick access to emails, social apps like Facebook and the latest release of the Blackberry messenger integrated into the OS. Additionally, the Cozi powered MobileLife Family Organizer application is stated to make its first appearance from T-Mobile with the Blackberry Bold 9900 handset.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 from T-Mobile is slated to be launched on August 31, 2011 and is exclusively available to business users for pre-order at an estimated price of around $299.99 (approx. Rs.13,697) after a $50 mail in rebate.
