Pink edition of Nokia N8 smartphone unfurled
Tech savvy ladies, who often grumble about gadgets being targeted only at men, can now feast their eyes on the latest offering by Nokia. The new Nokia N8 in pink is a limited edition smartphone and its elegant design coupled with a shiny aluminum casing is sure to catch women’s attention.
The phone isn’t pink only at the outside. Nokia’s Ovi Store now features pink themed apps and wallpapers to add that extra girl flavor into this phone. The little Pink Diva theme and the Pink Neon Clock are two such examples. A built-in app called Paint Pad lets users paint and share pictures on their phones. A Pink Note widget will also feature on the homescreen of these phones. The Ovi Maps app comes pre-loaded with the N8.

A 12 megapixel camera maintains itself from the original phone. The Xenon flash together with Carl Zeiss optics offer high quality images and HD videos which can be easily shared on social networking sites right from the homescreen. The N8 comes with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound and can be connected to home theatre systems for a HD movie experience. N8 users will also get web TV services on their phones, which include channels like CNN and National Geographic.
The Pink Nokia N8 is available at Nokia Priority stores at a suggested price of Rs. 22,999.
