Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Wirefly.com has declared the availability of the Samsung Epic 4G Touch by Sprint via pre-sale. The Android 2.3 smartphone is the successor to the popular Epic 4G and embeds a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display.

A part of Samsung’s Galaxy S series, the handset operates on Sprint’s 4G network and measures mere 0.38-inches in thickness. Owing to the Samsung Exynos 1.2GHz dual-core processor that it is powered with, the device apparently delivers cutting edge gaming performance, high-speed multitasking and faster uploads and downloads.

Integrated with an 8MP rear-facing camera/camcorder providing 1080p full HD recording and playback, the smartphone also features the AllShare technology for users to capture, create and share their experiences with ease. It equips a 2MP front-facing camera and is incorporated with Voice Talk by Vlingo to enable voice commands, voice dial, text message, navigation, music, Web browsing and search.

Users can take a picture of the phone’s screen by pressing the power button and the home key at the same time via the Screen grab. This latest device also accommodates the TouchWiz user interface which offers seemingly superior multitasking and customization. Furthermore, this smartphone comes with a microSD card slot that is capable of supporting any memory card of up to 32GB as well as the enterprise functionality. This feature offers more security of data and services besides enabling mobile conferencing while on the go.

The Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch priced at $149.99 (approx. Rs.6,974) is now available for pre-order at wirefly.com accompanied by a two-year agreement, select plan with $10 Premium Data add-on, no rebates and free Fedex shipping.
