InfoSonics offers verykool i270 wireless touchscreen handset

Verykool i270 Touchscreen UIs are enjoying a lot of popularity among mobile phone enthusiasts. It’s no wonder that manufactures are racing to cater to the demand for them. The latest is InfoSonics who has declared the launch of their verykool i270 wireless handset with a 2.4” TFT touchscreen display and 2MP CMOS camera that also functions as a camcorder.

The device lends support to 512 x 256MB T-Flash external memory and features an MP3 player that plays out music in stereo audio quality. It possesses a speakerphone and the multimedia properties include MPEG4/H.263 video recording as also MP3/AAC/AC+(e) playback. Owners are offered Bluetooth and USB 1.2 connectivity as well as PC synchronization via its USB port.

“We are enthusiastic about the potential for this product,” trilled Joseph Ram, president and CEO of InfoSonics. “The verykool i270 features an integrated 2MP camera with video capabilities, which becomes a web cam by simply connecting it to a computer. The verykool i270 also offers the ability to add external memory (microSD).”

verykool i270 operates within GPRS Class 12, EDGE networks and quad band frequencies. It tips the scale at 95g and measures 102.6mm x 50mm x 14.2mm. Other features include e-mail, MMS, FM radio, WAP 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, 1000 contact phonebook, sound recording and so on.

The price tag attached to InfoSonics’ verykool i270 handset is unclear for now.
