Verizon Wireless to house Samsung Haven handset
The last handset to hop onto Verizon Wireless was the Motorola Droid X smartphone. The feature-rich Samsung Haven handset, stamped with the Good Housekeeping Seal, can now be pre-ordered through Verizon Wireless.
Fitted with a 2.2” screen, this slim phone delivers 56-note polyphonic ringtones. The device offers full menu read out as well font adjusting capabilities. Users are provided with dedicated one-touch quick access buttons to E911, ICE, speakerphone, My Pictures, voicemail and voice commands. The ICE button can be assigned with up to three customized contacts too.
Additionally, the handset boasts of an in-built reminder alarm with up to five alarms and a fitness trainer with up to 15 stretching techniques. What’s more, users can de-stress themselves by choosing from four different healing music selections. Apart from the above mentioned features, the Haven is attributed with a medical information app. This app lets users make medical notes and store personal information such as allergies and medications.
The Samsung Haven handset is currently available for pre-order and is expected to hit Verizon’s retail and online stores on July 29. Offered with a two year customer agreement, the charcoal gray colored Haven is priced at $39.99 (approx. Rs. 1,870).
