Samsung Monte full touch phone announced in India
Samsung launches a new full touch phone in the form of the Samsung Monte (GT – S5620, in the Indian market. The stylishly designed Monte is a fusion of smooth curvy design that is enhanced by a yellow parting surface and a glossy rear surface. This must-have device sports superior looks alongside multimedia features and intuitive TouchWiz 2.0 Plus User Interface.
It includes a suite of social network applications such as Facebook and MySpace which allow users to stay in touch with their dear ones. It also packs in a Multi Instant Chat Messenger and provides access to complete internet browsing while the accelerometer sensor automatically adjusts the orientation.
Announcing the launch of Monte, stated Ranjit Yadav, Director- Mobile & IT, Samsung India stated, “The Samsung Monte stands out as much for its great looks as its advanced features. It lends an essential glamour to its users and through its cool functionalities allows them to lead an effortless mobile lifestyle.”
Samsung Monte users can also push their e-mail, calendar, and contacts from their Google accounts to their phone via Google Active Sync technology. It also comes equipped with navigation features like GPS supported by Google Latitude, geo-tagging, 3G, Wi-Fi and 220MB internal memory expandable up to 16GB.
The phone claims to bring in a great touch experience with its 3.0-inch WQVGA LCD screen and advanced imaging features such as smile shot, panorama shot, photo slide show and image motion view with a 3.2-mega pixel camera. The phone also supports 3D Sound Effects and embedded music search service, Find Music. The Smart Unlock and One finger zoom further add to the convenience.
The Samsung Monte, a complete multi-media package, ensures access to rich content. The application store hosted on Samsung Fun Club allows downloading varying content. It enables users to read newspaper in about 9 Indian languages through specialized software. The Samsung Monte comes at an attractive price of Rs. 12,390.
