It’s official, Samsung Vibrant to be out on July 15

Samsung Vibrant Phone The word had been out that Samsung would launch the handset on July 21, so this news ought to delight those who’ve been looking to lay their hands on this phone. It’s now official that T-Mobile UK will launch the Samsung Vibrant on July 15.

Users can enjoy an HD-like viewing experience on its 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. The Vibrant offers various options for multimedia enthusiasts such as the MobiTV application which lets them access live and on-demand TV. The device is powered by Android 2.1 and renders a seven homescreens as also access to the Android Market for personalizing the device.

The smartphone is fitted with a 5-megapixel camera featuring AF and digital zoom which also serves as a video camera for recording HD 720p videos. The device lends support to around 32GB of external memory. Two battery cover options in dark blue and lavender enables user to customize their handsets. The smartphone features GPS functionality and provides turn-by-turn navigation too.

The device is Wi-Fi enabled and includes the Samsung Media Hub, a library of video and literary content, is expected to be made available on the smartphone soon. Additionally, Samsung’s Social Hub allows users to stay connected with their friends and family through incorporated contacts, calendars, social networking sites and group messaging with a reply-all functionality for up to ten contacts.

The Samsung Vibrant will be made available to T-Mobile customers starting from July 15. The pricing details are not yet clear as yet.
