Verizon Wireless Motorola Citrus The latest collaboration of Motorola and Verizon led to the unveiling of the stylish Droid Pro handset. Both companies have come together again, this time to bring the Android-powered Citrus onto the store shelves. Described as affordable yet customizable, this CarbonFree certified smartphone is made with PVC and BVR free components.

Snoozing in with curved edges, the trendy offering sports an on-screen QWERTY keyboard in landscape as well as portrait modes for quicker typing. A PC-like Web browsing experience is rendered by its full HTML browser preinstalled with Bing search and Bing maps. Users can swiftly access Web pages and services like Facebook, Gmail, Google Talk and YouTube. Just like the attractive Charm, this one too employs Backtrack touch panel for faster navigation.

The compact Citrus is fitted with a full capacitive touchscreen display which allows users to conveniently flick, swipe and pinch-to-zoom. Boasting of seven homescreen panels, owners can effortlessly tailor shortcuts, applications, and pre-loaded widgets like sticky notes, weather, messages and calendar. Featuring Android 2.1 OS, the latest handset proffers access to a host of downloadable apps from the Android Market.

The new Motorola Citrus is expected to be available in Q4 of this year through Verizon Wireless communications stores and online website. However, the pricing details are foggy for now.
