AT&T Palm EOS coming second half of 2009?
The Palm EOS has been in news for quite some time now, the latest rumor surfacing is that this phone is all set to release in the second half of 2009 via AT&T, says Engadget.
Although we still don’t have a specific launch date, the rumors say that the phone may pop up anytime in the next six months.
Reportedly, a list of specifications of this phone has been leaked. Well, the spec sheet talks about full QWERTY keyboard, QC MSM7225 processor, Palm system Software and 1150mAh battery which provides approx 4 hours of talk-time.
The display is a 2.63-inch TFT with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels. The device supports various file formats including WAV, MP3, ACC, MPEG4 and more.
This Palm handset offers email applications like POP3, IMAP4 and EAS. It also supports SMS, MMS and instant messaging client. The device comes embedded with 2 MP digital focus camera, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and w/A2DP and EDR. Measuring 55x 111x 10.6 mm, this phone weighs only 100gms.
The device is said to include 5” USB to microUSB cable, 1A charge with USB connector and other documents. Sadly, the retail packing doesn’t include a headset.
The Palm Eos that is rumored to be seen in the second half of this year will supposedly drill a hole in your pockets with a price tag of $349(approx Rs.16, 655) after a $50 mail-in rebate.
