onOne DSLR Remote iPhone App awaits approval
onOne has submitted its first iPhone application dubbed DSLR Remote, to the Apple iTunes App Store. This all new application is a wireless cable for Canon EOS DSLR cameras. It enables one to fire the shutter and also alter shutter speed, aperture and white balance. Users can enjoy time lapse photography with the included intervalometer.
Moreover, it offers a live stream of the viewfinder on the iPhone if the users’ Canon EOS DSLR camera supports Live View.
Its quite simple to use, users first need to connect their laptop or desktop PC to the Canon EOS DSLR and in turn connect the iPhone or iPod Touch to the camera through the computer using WiFi connection.
The server software that supports Mac or Windows computer can be downloaded from the onOne website. The great news is that this download is absolutely free. onOne is said to be waiting for a nod from Apple, to release this application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
On approval, onOne DSLR remote application is expected to be available through Apple itunes App Store at an introductory price of $1.99, which will later change to $9.99. A Lite version of this application will allow users to only fire the shutter and will be available for $1.99.
