Microsoft to launch Pink phone?
Microsoft is trying its best to keeps its Project Pink a secret. But despite the company’s attempts, a few images of these upcoming phones which are a part of Project Pink have been leaked. According to Gizmodo, the leaked handsets are dubbed Turtle and Pure.
Reportedly, both these handsets will be manufactured by Sharp. The company will share branding on these handsets with Microsoft. The Pink Project handsets are said to target the same market as the earlier launched Sidekick. Moreover, both the handsets are believed to be in the later stages of product development.
The Turtle looks pretty much like a version of the Palm with its slightly square form factor. While, the Pure looks more like a standard slider handset. Both the handsets are said to be made of plastic. The spherical buttons and the soft angles of these handsets claim to enhance their appeal.
Reportedly, these Pink phones will also incorporate Zune services. The handsets will also have its app store. The pricing and availability details of the Pink Project are still under wraps but we hope to hear more about these handsets in the coming weeks.
