Google applies for Nexus One trademark

Google is probably finding it hard to keep details of their rumored Android phone from slipping out. According to Androidos, the company has put in a trademark application for their Google phone dubbed Nexus One at the Trademark Electronic Search System of US Patent & Trademark Office.
Enthusiasts within the tech world have obviously been keeping their eyes peeled since rumors of a new Google phone drifted in and now the stories seem to have a base after all. The trademark application for Nexus One was apparently filed on the 10th of this month.
There has been no news about the availability, expected retail price or even carrier of this much-talked-about device. Other unconfirmed speculations woven around this phone state that it could run on a new adaptation of the current Android OS, feature Google Voice and display an expansive LCD screen.
Hopefully, Google will come out with an official confirmation about their Android phone soon enough to quell any inconceivably high expectations that may emerge out of enthusiastic speculations.
