Samsung to release M550 Exclaim on June 7

Sprint’s rumored Samsung Lucello phone now has a new identity. The phone will now be called Samsung M550 Exclaim and is said to start shipping by June 7, reports SlashGear. Well, it’s around the supposedly release date of the highly anticipated Palm-Pre.

Apparently, the phone mainly focuses on Google searches and social networking sites. The menu of the phone is said to offer instant access to sites like Facebook, MySpace and more. It is said to support EVDO Rev 0 telecommunication standards.

This dual-keypad phone features both numeric as well as QWERTY keyboard for messaging. The phone comes integrated with 2 MP camera along with Bluetooth connectivity. The phone is also speculated to feature a 2.6-inch QVGA display with 240 x 320 resolution. The device is said to support a host of multimedia formats including MPEG4, MP3, AAC+ and WAV.

The phone will be made available in pink and blue versions via Sprint. The pricing and availability of this unique piece is still under wraps.
