HTC Touch Diamond mobile phone introduced via Verizon

HTC and Verizon Wireless have collaborated together to bring customers the stylish yet advanced smartphone called HTC Touch Diamond. With Verizon Wireless, quick e-mail and internet connectivity is made possible. This mobile phone mainly caters to business professionals.
The HTC Touch Diamond sports a black finish and has a display screen of 2.76 inches. This screen is ideal for browsing through Web pages located on a built-in Opera browser. Customers can capture excellent quality pictures and videos with the 3.2 megapixel Autofocus camera. To store loads of music and files, the Touch Diamond has a microSD card slot with up to 16 GB of memory.
Users can choose between applying Windows Mobile home screen or HTC TouchFLO 3D user interface on their mobile handset. Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional is integrated into the HTC Touch Diamond and easily supports applications like Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office.
Visual Voice Mail is enabled in this smartphone to help consumers sort out their messages more efficiently. With the VZ Navigator application enabled, users get audible turn-by-turn directions to 15 million points and directions to any address in the US. Customers of the Touch Diamond can also share directions with others. While away from office, users are able to keep in touch with colleagues through Mobile IM.
After a $70 (approx. Rs.3,485) mail-in rebate, the HTC Touch Diamond is available for $299.99 (approx. Rs.14,936). This offer comes with a two-year customer agreement. Consumers will receive the rebate, not in cash but in a debit card form. This card can then be used wherever debit cards are accepted. Monthly access of VZ Navigator and Visual Voice Mail can be availed of for $9.99 (approx. Rs.497) and $2.99 (approx. Rs.148) respectively.
