The Shack to offer Apple iPhone
Well, The Shack will now offer users the Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS, reports Mobilecrunch We had earlier heard rumors that claimed that the iPhone will be made available via authorized resellers. And this news just confirms the earlier heard rumors.
Reportedly, this news was confirmed by a letter from Bryan Bevin, Executive Vice President of The Shack. The store will start offering the AT&T flagship handsets in a few locations like Dallas Forth Worth and New York City this month. The handset will be made available nation wide next year.
The iPhone 3G comes embedded with features like 16GB onboard memory, 320×480 touchscreen, Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11b/g, built-in 2 megapixel camera and microphone. The 3G also provides talk time of 10 hours and a standby time of 300 hours.
The iPhone 3GS features a 3 megapixel autofocus camera along with support for OpenGL ES 2.0 standards and .2 Mbps HSDPA network. The Apple iPhone 3GS also comes embedded with voice control and White on Black feature reverses the colors on the screen. Incase users are unable to find their iPhone; they can delete all their data from the iPhone using the Remote Wipe feature.
The Shack has not revealed the pricing for the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS.
