Samsung joins Verizon Wireless to unveil Samsung Convoy

Wearing an enclosure of charcoal grey color, the rugged device features a durable and robust design, making it apt for critical and devastating environmental conditions. Equipped with high-quality stereo speaker, extended battery life and numerous messaging options, the Convoy meets military specifications 810F standards for shock and dust resistance, vibration, salt fog, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and low and high temperature storage.
Besides, its embedded VZ Navigator enables users to get audible turn-by-turn directions to more than 15 million points of interest and share the directions with others. Users can awaken their passion for photography with its 2.0 megapixel camera with Night Shot, panorama and varied color effects.
Coevally, there is Bluetooth 2.1 wireless technology alongside support for mono and stereo headset, hands-free, dial-up networking, serial port, object push (vCard and vCalender only), basic image, basic printing and phonebook access.
