LG reveals plans to launch new Prada
LG has revealed its plans to launch a new Prada phone in the fourth quarter of this year, reports Gizmodo. The company plans this move with a view to take over the number two position from Samsung. LG’s mobile business president informed that the company is planning to model this phone the lines of the Nokia Vertu range.
The currently available Prada phone that was launched in November 2008 features a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen. It also bundles up a matching limited edition Bluetooth watch. Apparently, the phone is rumored to incorporate Google’s Android or Windows Mobile operating system.
Reportedly, The launch of this phone will be LG’s first step towards the goal of gaining the second position by the end of 2012. The pricing and availability details of this new Prada phone are still under wraps.
