Samsung and Sprint introduce the Instinct s30 mobile phone

Sprint Samsung Instinct s30Samsung along with Sprint offers a successor to the Samsung Instinct mobile phone known as the Instinct s30. This latest mobile phone includes a touch screen with QWERTY keypad. The Instinct s30 incorporates a slim look and can be found in shades of cobalt metal and touch of copper.

The Instinct s30 offers better Web-browsing via the default browser and the Opera Mini 4.2. Instant-messaging is another built-in feature found in the mobile. To cater to the entertainment needs of users, Instinct s30 has two preloaded games, Guitar Hero – World Tour and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader.

The Samsung Instinct s30 is ideal for both business as well as casual users. For the business-oriented customers, the mobile phone has lots of useful features. With Microsoft Outlook enabled, the phone delivers fast and easy access to the corporate calendar function. Customers can view all their corporate contacts, e-mails and calendar through Sprint Mobile Email Work with IBM Lotus Domino or Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, 2003 or 2007 accounts.

The Samsung Instinct s30 sports a QWERTY keypad which emits a slight vibration as it has localized haptic feedback. Customers are able to listen to their messages with the Visual Voicemail feature. Messages stored can easily be managed and sorted for better convenience. Information such as GPS enabled directions, one-touch click to call and interactive maps can be accessed with Live Search for Sprint which is powered by Microsoft.

Sprint TV feature activated with the Instinct s30 offers the consumers on-demand programming and a wide selection of channels. Adding to the entertainment array, the mobile includes an advanced stereo Bluetooth 2.0 and a 2.0 megapixel camera which captures pictures as well as videos. Text messaging with threaded text and SMS voice is also enabled in this Samsung model.

Users of the Instinct s30 can activate a host of functions by simply using the voice activation feature. This includes text, traffic, picture messaging and a whole lot more. With the Speech to Action feature, customers can also access Sprint Navigation powered by Telenav. This gives audio and visual driving directions and traffic rerouting information.

The Instinct s30 provides access to core Java APIs which includes multimedia, Bluetooth and messaging. This allows developers to take advantage of these features and create new applications. In the multimedia department, users can play media files like MP3 songs, streaming content and video recording.

Sprint offers a Simply EverythingSM plan which can be applied to the Samsung Instinct s30. This plan gives users unlimited texting, web browsing and e-mailing for a price of $99.99 (approx. Rs.4,993) per month. Everything Data plans start at $69.99 (approx. Rs.3,494) per month.
The Samsung Instinct s30 will be available from April19, 2009 for a price of $129.99 (approx. Rs.6,491). The mobile comes coupled with a 2-year contract, $70 (approx. Rs.3,495) instant savings and a mail-in rebate of $100 (approx. Rs.4,993). Customers can buy this product through Sprint stores, online and via telesales.
