Motorola Clutch i465 mobile phone unveiled

Mobile enthusiasts can gear up for a whole new mobile experience. Motorola presents the latest addition to its wide line-up of mobile phones with the Clutch i465. This is the company’s first handset to have push-to-talk technology and full QWERTY all wrapped up in one neat package for the customers’ convenience.
Talking and texting couldn’t get easier with this latest offering from Motorola. Users can multitask on this military-tough phone by messaging from the full QWERTY keypad and talk to others with the push-to-talk feature. The phone includes 205 minutes talk time and 100 hours standby time.
The keypad is complete with shortcut keys and software upgrades like IM-style texting. Customers can follow and respond to messages with ease. Multiple conversations are possible with the all-in-one view of incoming and outgoing messages. The display screen of this device is 1.79 inches 64k TFT with 128 x 160 resolution.
The Clutch i465 is designed to withstand any type of conditions it’s faced with may it be dust, solar radiation, vibration and shock. The handset weighs 96g and measures 2.1 x 4.4 x 0.6 inches. The band/modes supported by the phone are 800/900 MHz. For connectivity, the mobile has micro USB, Bluetooth 1.2, 5-pole and a 2.5mm audio jack.
Messaging friends and family can be done through SMS, MMS, message threading, predictive text and email (POP3). The integrated camera has a 300k resolution with 4x zoom. The phone also supports MIDI, MP3, WAV and ringtones. All pictures and sounds can be stored on the 20MB user available memory.
The Motorola Clutch i465 will be available to customers at the start of Q2 2009 although the price is not known.
