Vobis Computer intros HighScreen PP5420 Android phone in Russia

Vobis Computer HighScreen PP5420 Vobis Computer has unveiled its plans to launch the HighScreen PP5420 in Russia, says BGR. This Android based phone incorporates two touchscreen panels. The larger panel provides the display while the smaller is used for navigation.

The phone has reportedly replaced Windows Mobile OS with Android 1.5. The phone will also incorporate dualband 900/2100MHz HSPA, Wi-Fi b/g and GPS. The main display of the phone is a 3-inch WQVGA display and the smaller display is a 1.5-inch OLED navigation panel.

Apart from this, the PP5420 also includes a 3 megapixel autofocus camera and a VGA camera on the front side for video calls. The other specifications include TV-output, mini USB connecter, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, FM radio and microSD card slot.

The HighScreen includes Qualcomm’s MSM7201ATM, a 528MHz chipset. Measuring 114mm x 53.5mm x 13mm, this Android phone weighs only 120g with the battery.

Vobis Computer plans to release the HighScreen PP5420 in Russia next week. The company refrains from talking about its plans to launch the phone outside Russia. The Vobis Computer HighScreen PP5420 will cost €360 (approx. Rs.24,205).
