Motorola Evoke QA4 phone

Motorola comes out with a new mobile phone called the Evoke QA4. The phone incorporates a whole array of features which include IM style messaging and Web browsing.

The Motorola Evoke QA4 is a 2.8 inch full touchscreen phone which allows users to easily type their messages and make calls. The mobile has a full touchscreen QWERTY keyboard as well as a slide out keyboard. The home screen can be customized with RSS feeds and widgets. Features such as Home screen messaging icons, IM style messaging and predictive texts make multiple conversations easy to follow.

Users can make calls by either using the dialing features on the touchscreen or by simply sliding the keypad out. When the Evoke QA4 is turned on its side, it shows a QWERTY keyboard which allows users to type easily. For clarity of sound while on phone calls, the device incorporates noise reduction technology. Bluetooth technology is also enabled to allow hands-free communication.

Mark Shockley, corporate vice president and general manager, Motorola Mobile Devices explained, “We understand the importance of having a mobile phone that helps you stay connected simply and seamlessly with your friends and family, whether you prefer to talk, text or network.”

He further added, “Motorola Evoke offers the cutting-edge convenience and instant gratification of a full touch-screen, intuitive online browsing and the ability to stay plugged in on your terms.”

The applications and features of Motorola Evoke QA4 can be customized to suit the needs of customers. To view content on the Web or access social networking sites, integrated widgets and RSS feeds are utilized. The phone has quick-start widgets from which customers can access sites like MySpace and YouTube instantly. Users can also upload and share their pictures and information on sites like Picasa through fast Web connectivity. A single touch of the phone screen allows users to access a full HTML browser.

The Motorola Evoke QA4 will be available by Q2 of 2009. The price is not known.
