LG GD900 Crystal Phone with see-through keypad to ship globally?

LG GD900 Crystal Phone Remember the transparent keypad phone from LG, which debuted way back in February? The latest scoop from the company states that the phone is all set to hit the worldwide market. LG Korea has announced the launch of the crystal transparent phone, known as the GD900 Crystal, across the globe.

Based on the existing KM900 Arena, the slider phone comes packed with a few exciting features. It works on LG’s S-class next-generation 3D user-interface and comes equipped with a 3-inch WVGA (multi touch) touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, TV-out, an 8.0 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus.

Also, the GD900 provides an automatic screen switching support, MP3 player and an internal storage space of 1.5GB that can be extended to up to 32GB.

Besides, a transparent illuminated keypad is said to be extremely durable. The Crystal handset is dressed in two color hues that include chrome and titanium. Seemingly, the design and features are the quite attractive segments of the device, luring fashion-conscious consumers.

Initially anticipated for the May launch, the LG GD900 Crystal phone is now scheduled to release “very soon” in some 40 countries across Asia, Europe and Latin America. It is believed that it wouldn’t debut in North America. Price-wise, it is rumored to sell for around €450 (approx. Rs. 29,928).
