General Mobile introduces DSTL1 Android-based phone

General Mobile recently announced that it will show off its first dual-SIM and dual-standby smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The phone is called DSTL1 and is said to be the first Android-powered handset to support two SIM cards simultaneously.
Powered by the 624MH Marvell processor, the DSTL1 inlcudes a 3 inch touchscreen with 240 x 400 QWVGA resolution, 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and EDR and Wi-Fi.
The DSTL1 phone also comes with a built-in FM radio with RDS. A document viewer is also included which allows users to view documents in various formats.
The phone’s battery life offers a talktime of upto 240 minutes and a standby time of upto 150 hours. In addition to this, the phone is packed with an internal memory of 4GB.
The sleek phone is expected to be launched in February and will hit the shelves in Q3 2009.
