Gigabyte launches three GSmart PDA Phones in India

The growing needs of mobile phones in the Indian market have instigated many manufacturers to foray into the mobile phone industry. Following the rapid demand, Gigabyte Communications has announced the launch of its three Windows Mobile PDA phone, namely MS820, MW702 and MW700.

Expanding the GSmart catalog, these touchscreen PDAs support Windows Mobile Professional, enabling users to access powerful data management and multimedia features. Users can easily manage their business activities and simultaneously get entertained with the available multimedia features.

Designed for business consumers, the common features of all the three PDA phones are GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth FM radio, Smart Touch user-interface, a WAP and USB connectivity.

Talking about the individual specifications of each phone; the GSmart MS820 PDA packs in a VGA panel display, a 5.0 megapixel camera with auto focus, face detection and video mode. Additionally, it also features Windows Mobile Direct push mail and Window Live Messenger along with a high speed Edge/HSDPA connectivity.

Based on the smart sensor, it supports both the vertical and horizontal screen display. Users can enjoy motion sensitive mobile games as well.

After the high-end PDA handset, let’s talk about the other two entry-level models. The GSmart MW702 and MW700 run on Windows Mobile Professional operating system and incorporate SIM manager, recorder and many more features.

The Gigabyte GSmart MS820, MW702 and the MW700 PDA phones are priced at Rs. 36,999, Rs.29,999 and Rs.16,999, respectively.
