Mobile Phone and iPod Users might Suffer from Allergy

Allergy comes without informing. Each season has its own causes of allergic reaction. Summer is the worst season when it comes to allergies due to the heat and sweat. This spring, Vitals, the leading doctor evaluation site, warns that some everyday devices such as phone s and iPods may be the cause of allergic outbreaks. These gadgets and gizmos are now synonymous with modern living.
This study is important and knowledgeable and spreads awareness of a new allergy phenomenon that would arise due to the frequent use of modern technology. It is argued that wireless devices have negative impact on human bodies with electromagnetic sensitivity due to the excessive exposure to radiation and microwaves generated. This later affects the body, suffering skin rashes, fatigue and headaches.
The researchers also stated that the people already experiencing common allergies, the use of cell phones would set to trigger, which further enhances the sensitivity to allergens. The typical allergic reactions such as watery eyes or a runny nose will be noticed.
“In addition to the typical pollen-producing allergies that are rampant during the months of spring, technophiles should take caution that some of their favorite gadgets may be the culprit of certain allergy symptoms,” stated Dr. Todd Rosengart, Chief Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Hospital and Chief Medical Advisor of MDX Medical, which created Vitals.
It was found that nickel, which is used to produce mobile phones, is more likely to cause allergy, called contact dermatitis that generates rashes and skin outbreaks. In iPod and mobile phones, the anodizing chemicals or the metals are said to be harmful to music lovers as again it develops skin rashes and bumps.
The American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology mentioned that over 50 US residents are suffering from allergies. It is said that more than half the population proves to be suffering from one or more allergens.
