iPhone expands its Reach to Nordic, Baltic markets via TeliaSonera

TeliaSonera, iPhone Yet another step to make the iPhone’s charisma spread across the globe. Apple enters the European nations with a tie-up with TeliaSonera, Nordic Telecom Company. The service provider has announced that they have collaborated with Apple to launch the iPhone in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia later this year.

However, the company plans to keep its mouth shut regarding the deal; whether it would be exclusive or it would have multiple providers. The network operator also maintains its silence on the to-be-released product. So, we have no clue whether it would be selling the revolutionary current generation iPhone or whether the speculated next-generation 3G version.

If you recall, 9th June is not that far, it’s just a few days away. The countdown is about to begin and on completion, the much-anticipated 3G version of iPhone might become a reality.

The India launch of the iPhone could be via Vodafone or Bharti Airtel. Let’s see what’s in store for us. The iPod-cum-phone is already available in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany and Austria. Just wait and watch for more releases.

Talking about TeliaSonera, it is the leading European provider that offers services in the Nordic and Baltic countries, Spain and the emerging markets of Eurasia, including Russia and Turkey.
