3G iPhone to Launch on 9th June – Reportedly Confirmed?
Here’s one more so called “confirmed yet unconfirmed news” on the 3G iPhone release. We have tagged this news as “Confirmed yet unconfirmed” because the news has been leaked from an anonymous person, who claims to be “close” to the 3G iPhone launch.
Sourced by Gizmodo, the website says that someone very close to the 3G iPhone launch has finally confirmed that the next-generation iPhone is all set to release at WWDC Keynote on June 9th. The news also states that the upcoming iPhone model will be immediately available globally after the launch. An interesting speculation also suggested that the price of the new iPod-cum-iPhone will not be locked to a fixed figure.
Moreover, the selling strategies or policies are slated to be new in some countries. For instance, the same unknown source gave details about Spain. The 3G iPhone would release on 18th June, which is also an opening date of Telefonica’s megastore – an Apple Store. In other European countries, the iPhone will be rolled out at the same time.
This is still considered as a rumor as FCC hasn’t approved the 3G iPhone. No official announcement has been made by Apple about the features and the release date. However, we surely know that the latest model will have the 3G network.
