Sony Ericsson announces F305 Phone with Motion Gaming Feature

The recently leaked F305 mobile phone from Sony Ericsson has finally made its presence in the market, offering a horizontal motion gaming experience with dedicated control keys.
Targeted totally at the youth, the F305 with Motion Gaming allows consumers to control games with the flick of a wrist or the swing of an arm by using enhanced motion sensor technology. The integrated stereo speakers let users enjoy music tracks and gameplay on the 2.0-inch screen (176 x 220 resolutions) of the pocket-sized slider phone.
Enjoy the pre-loaded games such as Bowling, Bass fishing and Jockey as well as additional games developed by Gameloft with 50 more 2D and 3D games that need to be downloaded.
Some of the other features of the F305 entertainment gaming handset include a 2.0-megapixel camera to capture valuable moments and share it with friends through Bluetooth or Memory Stick Micro (M2). It also sports Quad-Band EDGE connectivity, Up to 10MB internal memory, stereo FM radio, PlayNow, Java and support for MP3/AAC/AAC+/ eAAC+ file formats.
“Gaming is no longer something you do on your own. It’s about having fun with your friends and interacting with the game,” maintained Sven Totté, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson. “We have used motion sensor technology before in our phones and integrating it into gameplay is a natural progression.”
The Sony Ericsson F305 handset delivers upto 8 hours of operations and up to 400 hours of stand-by time. For urgent battery power boost, the company has offered the Power Pack CPP-100. Users need to attach it to the keyring and plug it into the phone for power boost. If you are bored of using the same phone body for a long time, the Style-up covers are also included in the box.
It is expected to release in the third quarter of 2008. Price is yet unknown.
