Intex IN 2222 Mobile Phone introduced in India
Intex has rolled out its latest mobile phone in the Indian market for budget-conscious individuals. Known as IN 2222, this phone delivers entertainment along with other useful features.
The features of the new multitasking handset are GPRS facility for web browsing, a 65 K color display screen that offers a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, capacity to hold up to 800 contacts and 500 messages. Besides, it also sports FM radio and FM recorder to record and save songs from radio.
Users can record around 2MB of songs and listen to them on the integrated audio player, and even check out their vocal skills with the included sound recorder. If someone is harassing them, then they have the freedom to block 5 unwanted callers. This eliminates the additional cost that is usually paid for the same service to the service provider.
Kaushik Mitra, Product Group Head- Mobile Communications, Intex, explained, “After receiving a very heartening response to our model IN- 2020, which has 7.5 hrs long talk time, this is INTEX’s second offering in the entry level segment, this year. Considering that pricing is a major growth driver for mobile telephony in India- the 2nd largest market for mobile phones in the world- the company strives to launch affordable models with best of technology features to fulfill communication needs of the masses who form a major part of the market.”
