Nokia Phones Now Feature Google Search Engine

Nokia 6210 with Google

Nokia has announced that it has signed an agreement with Google to offer the Google search engine on Nokia’s Search application. It will be incorporated on Nokia mobile phones such as N96, N78 models along with the Navigator 6210 and the classic 6220.

The mobile phone giant plans to offer the engine in more than 40 models, 100 countries in 40 languages. Currently, the Finnish giant’s internet navigators like Nokia Internet Tablet do incorporate Google search engine.

With one click from the active standby screen, users can directly access the search engine quite simply and quickly. Soon after the content is searched, the Nokia search application allows taking action on that information by employing the handset’s features that includes maps, messaging or the browser.

Last year, the phone maker had joined hands with the biggest search engine that would allow Nokia N95 8GB owners to share video from Google’s You Tube service.
