LG has announced the launch of its latest mobile phone, dubbed Lotus. Designed by Christian Siriano, the LG Lotus will exclusively be available through Sprint network operator.
“Fashion is so important because it helps convey individual personalities. Similarly, we believe mobile phones have the same ability and have become a fashion accessory within their own right. We are very excited to partner with Christian Siriano and look forward to seeing his unique accessory inspired by the LG Lotus on the runway at Fashion Week,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of product strategy & marketing for LG Mobile Phones.
The LG Lotus clamshell handset sports full QWERTY keypad, a 2 megapixel camera, camcorder, stereo Bluetooth, music player with external controls and a microSD memory slot with capacity of up to 12 GB.
Talking about the phones design, Christian Siriano said, “The scarf I designed for the new LG Lotus is fabulous. It has a pocket for another accessory I can’t live or work without — my phone! I designed the scarf’s little pocket for the Lotus’ square shape. I love it! You should too.”
The beautiful Lotus phone comes in two attractive color options, namely textured purple and satin black. The phone is expected to reach the markets by October and will be available through all Sprint retail channels. Price is still a mystery.
