RCom rolls out BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone in India

BlackBerry Curve 8330 Research In Motion (RIM) has started its tour of introducing the very popular BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone, beginning from India. After US, the company has entered the Indian market by partnering with Reliance Communications.

This sleek and stylish CDMA smartphone combines communications and multimedia capabilities in the smallest and lightest form factor.

Featuring full QWERTY keypad, the BlackBerry Curve 8330 handset incorporates RIM’s intuitive trackball navigation system, a 2 megapixel camera with flash and 5x zoom, advance media player with desktop media manager software to manage music, pictures and videos between PC and the handset. It also employs Bluetooth 2.0 functionality, and Instant Messaging with BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk.

It provides access to email, phone, organizer, browser and other mobile business and leisure applications. In addition, the 8330 also support Voice Activated Dialing, speakerphone, and noise and echo cancellation technology for clearer calls.

Some additional features of the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone include:

  • Support on BlackBerry Internet Service, which provides users with the ability to access up to 10 supported email accounts, including most ISP email accounts, from a single device.
  • Support on BlackBerry Enterprise Server – To integrate IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise and work with existing enterprise systems for providing push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data together with advanced security and IT administration.
