LG KC780 8 Megapixel Camera Phone Introduced

As we all know that these days mobile phones not only possess basic phoning functionalities but also employ high-end multimedia features such as music player, camera, TV and radio. The latest trend is high resolution camera capability in mobile phones.

LG KC780 camera phone Keeping with the trends, LG has unveiled its latest LG-KC780 8 megapixel camera phone.

The feature-rich handset shows off an 8 megapixel resolution camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens. The phones’s camera features various functions like Face Detection, Smile Detection technology, easy-to-use shot modes, Smile Shot, Beauty Mode and a high ISO 1600 adjustable light sensitivity.

The KC780 also sports LG’s SmartLight setting, Image Stabilizer and D1 Video recording to capture DVD-resolution video.

At just 13.8 mm thickness, the slim slider phone comes equipped with a 2.4-inch widescreen LCD, Smart Bluetooth and Motion Sensor Games.

The camera phone also doubles up as a webcam for online video chatting.

Speaking on the launch of LG-KC780, Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, commented, “We found that most of the time people use the cameras on their mobile phones to take pictures of themselves, their families, friends and significant others. With this in mind, LG developed the LG-KC780 with a number of face-enhancing features to augment its high quality 8 megapixel camera.”

Scheduled to reach the European markets in November, the LG-KC780 camera phone will also go on sale in CIS and Asia, including India, Thailand, Hong Kong and China later. However, there is no mention about the price.
