Verizon announces the release of BlackBerry 8330 Curve and Pearl 8130 in pink casing.
Targeted at women and youngsters, both smartphones sport sport 2.0 megapixel cameras, 3G Internet access over EVDO and 3.5mm headphone jacks for listening to music.
Featuring Verizon Wireless’ VZ Navigator service, the QWERTY 8330 phone lets users to access maps, audible turn-by-turn navigation and information on more than 14 million points of interest.
With the compact BlackBerry Pearl 8130 smartphone, users can view e-mail and attachments from their professors, stay on-track with assignments using the organizer, and browse over the World Wide Web.
Currently available for pre-order, the BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone in pink carries a price tag of $99.99 (approx. Rs. 4,300) after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement, and the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 smartphone in pink has a retail cost of $79.99 (approx. Rs. 3,440) after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. While Curve will be available from 15th August, the Pearl is immediately available for purchase.
