Indians are very social in nature and for them it is important to constantly be in touch with family and friends. No wonder social networking websites are booming in India. Taking this point in consideration Juice Wireless has introduced JuiceCaster, unified mobile and Web social media application in India.

Juice Wireless claims that the JuiceCaster application will work with any mobile phone device having camera. Through which users can shoot, upload and share their videos and images. Today the world has gone way further and users ask to share their multimedia content as soon as they record it. They do not even want to wait for computers for internet access. And that’s what JuiceCaster delivers.

This new application automatically connects mobile phone user’s pictures and videos with Web-based social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Orkut. In short JuiceCaster offers:

  • Capturing pictures and videos on mobile phones and sharing with contacts
  • Publishing pictures and video instantly from the phone to online social networking sites
  • Finding new friends by checking others’ pictures and videos, right on the mobile phone
  • Maintaining a rich social networking connection, including a profile, friends list and personal status

It’s a naturally social market and we’re making the sharing of pictures and videos among friends and family as easy as sending a text message.”

However Indians will still have to wait for having the JuiceCaster application on their mobile phones as Juice Wireless is currently in talks with major Indian networks like Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, MTNL, Reliance etc. The charges of the application will depend on the deal Juice Wireless will close with each operator.

JuiceCaster is already launched in US and it charges $3 per month over there

To conclude I can say that JuiceCaster would be the social networking application which cannot be blocked in your office as you would be using it through your mobile phone. Interesting isn’t it?
