NTT DoCoMo launches FOMA F1100, HT1100 Windows Mobile 6.0 Smartphones
NTT DoCoMo has unveiled its two new smartphones, known as the FOMA F1100 and FOMA HT1100.

Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Japanese-edition operating system, both the smartphones enable the user to connect to the Internet through applications such as Outlook Mobile and Internet Explorer Mobile.
The two smartphones are HSDPA enabled and adopt the McAfee security scan that offers high-speed, protected browsing of PC websites and email management along with the power to identify and isolate malicious data before downloading.
The FOMA F1100 and FOMA HT1100 use the standard ten-key input layout that delivers the combination of smartphone capabilities with mobile phone convenience.
The features of the FOMA HT1100 include HTC’s stylish and versatile TouchFLO Touch Cube 3-D interface to easily access and operate a variety of functions with the slide of a thumb, supports audio visual files such as YouTube Mobile content that allows the user to enjoy by using Streaming Media software and HTC’s Audio Manager music player. The handset is compatible with DoCoMo’s WORLD WING international roaming service. It is widely designed for active business professionals.
The FOMA F1100 sports both FOMA and wireless LAN networks for IP telephony so that the handset can work as VoIP mobile phone using in-house WLANs equipped for DoCoMo’s PASSAGE DUPLE service and the business mopera IP Centrex service. It also delivers fingerprint authentication feature to offer protection of important data.

HT110 offers continuous battery life of 160 minutes of 3G and 170 minutes of GSM of talktime, 270 hours of 3G and 240 hours of GSM on stand-by. F1100 delivers battery life for 160 minutes of talktime and 500 hours of stand-by.
NTT DoCOMo will start the shipment of FOMA HT1100 and FOMA F1100 by Q1 of 2008.
