Qwest Adds Ultra-Tough Wireless SANYO SCP-7050 to its Line-up of Handsets

Qwest SANYO SCP-7050 handset Qwest Communications International Inc has expanded its line-up of handsets by introducing the toughest mobile phone, dubbed Sanyo SCP-7050. The company claims that this ultra-rugged mobile device meets the official U.S. military Standard 810F specifications.

Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and rugged industry professionals, the mobile phone offers vibration, dust and shock-resistant and also features a high-quality speakerphone, along with tough rubber Dura-Grip and voice-activated dialing.

Frank Simanson, vice president of product at Qwest, states “This latest phone from Qwest is perfect for people who work in rugged industries and equally great for people who like to play hard. So, whether you’re an avid rock climber or a construction foreman, this is the phone for you.”

The Sanyo SCP-7050 comes with autonomous GPS functionality and Bluetooth wireless headset readiness to meet the needs of the business professionals. It also supports Ready Link and a walkie-talkie-like service.

Qwest offers Sanyo SCP-7050 at discounted prices of $89.99 (approx. Rs. 3600) with a 1 or 2 year of the company’s Wireless contract for eligible customers.
