TAG Heuer to Roll Out Luxurious Mobile Phones
We all know TAG Heuer as a world leader in prestigious sports watches, chronographs and as a luxury watch brand. Now TAG Heuer is also coming into the mobile phone market. The watch making company has joined hands with the ModeLabs Group to design, produce and market mobile phones under the banner of TAG Heuer.
The two companies are already in a contract to undertake research and development of luxury “tailor-made” mobile phones.
“Thanks to this new luxury communication instrument, TAG Heuer is continuing to express its DNA, a combination of technology and design based on the same principles as the launch of its Avant-Garde Eyewear in 2002,” ,” said TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.
“The success of this line, already a world leader in high-end eyewear, has confirmed TAG Heuer’s potential as a global brand capable of offering contemporary, technological and timeless products in high-growth categories with strong potential such as luxury mobile phones. We believe that this second diversification will contribute to enriching the brand in terms of both image and added value,” he added.
We will have to wait to see these sparkling luxury phones from TAG Heuer till the latter half of the 2008.
