RIM Reveals Facebook Software for Blackberry Smartphones
Research In Motion (RIM), has announced the availability of the Facebook software designed especially for its smartphones. This software will enable Blackberry users to browse the popular social networking website.
Just like the e-mail service from Blackebrrty, this new application will allow RIM smartphone users to receive Facebook notifications and messages automatically and scroll through them quickly. Also users can read or compose messages offline, claimed RIM.
RIM also revealed that T-Mobile, USA will be the first mobile operator to sell the new software.
The manufacturer also said that they are planning to offer “lifestyle applications” like games and multimedia in the Blackeberry phone, which will allow busy professionals to take enjoyable breaks from their work.
