Samsung Battery Exploded in India: Says Report

Samsung Logo First it was Nokia’s BL-5C battery, and now it’s Samsung’s. Zeenews.com has reported about the explosion of mobile battery from Samsung. A Samsung mobile user in India claims that his mobile battery was exploded.

Rajesh Shastri, a resident of Musakhedi near Indore told the TV channel that his mobile battery overheated and ultimately exploded. Luckily no one was injured in the incident.

The report further says that Shastri’s Samsung mobile was incorporated with the SCHN356 battery model.

Zeenews.com further mentioned that as of now Shastri has not lodged any complaint to the manufacturer.

Last week Nokia recalled its 46 million BL-5C batteries manufactured by Matsushita Battery Industrial Co., Ltd., Japan between December 2005 and November 2006 due to the overheating problem.
