Samsung has announced three new mobile phones in the music line-up, dubbed SGH-i450, SGH-F330 and SGH-F210, to enjoy both dedicated music features along with enhanced mobile phone functions.
All the three phones feature Physical User Interface (PUI), a mechanism ideal for music lovers to enjoy the music when the phone is turned off. The ICEpower amplifier from Bang & Olufsen allows owners to listen to their favorite music alone or with the company through the speakers with superior audio fidelity. It also has the ability to enhance the battery life and save power consumption.
The music phones are compatible with various playback files such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, WMDRM.
The Samsung i450 music phone features Symbian S60 3rd Edition operating system, HSDPA connectivity at 3.6 Mbps for fast speed application, 35MB internal memory and microSD slot up to 4GB to store more music. The S60 software enables the user for easy transfer and browsing. The slider phone also sports a music player with touch wheel navigation.
The Samsung SGH-F330 is a dual face slim slider music phone and the successor of F300. Featuring external music control keys, which are located on the front side of the phone, give access to the tunes and music. The phone also supports HSDPA connectivity at 3.6 Mbps, multi-codec files and quick sync with windows media player to maximize the extensibility for music phone users. It also comes with a 2.0 mega-pixel camera, and microSD slot for memory expansion up to 2GB.
The Samsung SGH-F210, designed like an MP3 player, comes integrated with ear buds and features a scroll wheel interface and a horizontal display of the play list, equalizer settings and track information. It also offers the latest windows media player 10 and supports Music Set-up wizard and Music Library feature for the user to play songs of their preference and organize them into the folders. It comes in 1GB internal memory and microSD slot for expandable memory up to 2GB.
The Samsung i450 is expected to cost around 360 Euro (approx. Rs. 20,060) and will be available by end of this month in Italy. Samsung F330 is currently available in Germany for 260 Euro (approx. Rs. 14,487). The Samsung F210 is also presently available in Germany at the suggested price of 280 Euro (approx. Rs.15,600 ).
