LG LX260 or LG Slider Messaging Mobile Phone gets an FCC Approval

LG gets an approval from FCC for its new cell phone, dubbed LX260 or LG Slider Messaging.

LG LX260 Slider phone LG has collaborated with Sprint, American mobile operator to launch the latest mobile device. However, the company has not yet finalized the name of the handset. As of now, there are two options available, namely LG Slider Messaging and LG LX260.

The stylish slider handset features QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth connectivity, a camera, and a microSD memory slot. It also comes equipped with 1.3 megapixel camera, pre-loaded software for e-mail and instant messaging and supports stereo, MP3. It is also compatible with CDMA 1xRTT networks.

LG is planning to release the LX260 or LG Slider Messaging in the coming few months through Sprint in two colors. Price is yet unknown.

    Yes, the phone is out—since at least April, as that's when I got mine. It is called the LG Rumor for Sprint. It used to come in Green, Black, and White, but they also recently released the Blue color. Its a pretty good phone, although a little slow, to tell you the truth--but probably better than any of Sprint's other phones. And seeing as it's basically the ONLY Sprint phone with a keyboard, its probably their best at the moment. Go check 'em at your Sprint store--they usually have them hiding in their own display in the back.
