Nokia N92 Phone Launched in India

Nokia N92 Recently Nokia expanded their Nseries with its new mobile phone N92. Nokia claims that the N92 is the world’s first Digital Video Broadcast Handheld (DVB-H) enabled handset supporting Live Broadcast Mobile TV.

On the occasion of launch Vineet Taneja, Director of Multimedia, Nokia, said, “Mobile phones today have emerged as a powerful multimedia convergence device, capable of executing a myriad of tasks and applications. Within a quick span, they have become the preferred mode for information & entertainment and we are glad to bring the Nseries flagship device – the new N92 to mobile users in the country.”

“Television viewing has come a long way with close to 500 million viewers in the country today. With the growing popularity of mobile devices and its capability to offer instant access to information and entertainment, this initiative will bring in the perfect synergy between television content and the mobile platform,” he further added.

N92 is the world’s first 3G/GSM device having an integrated DVB-H receiver. To deliver live digital TV broadcasts, making it as easy for consumers to tune into TV channels on the device, the N92 works with the DVB-H technology. Thus, users can experience the comfort of watching television at their homes, even when they are away.
