Apple has managed to sell one million iPhones in just 74 days of its launch. The iPhone was launched on June 29.
“One million iPhones in 74 days, it took almost two years to achieve this milestone with iPod. We can’t wait to get this revolutionary product into the hands of even more customers this holiday sea- son,” said Steve Jobs, CEO Apple Inc.
The iPhone is a revolutionary mobile phone launched by the computer maker. Initially it was available in two capacities – 4GB and 8GB.
Recently Apple cut the price of the 8GB model by $200 and announced to discontinue the smaller memory model.
Currently the iPhone is available only in the US. Tech savvies all over the world are waiting to launch the phone in their respective countries, so that they can grab their own piece of iPhone.
