Asus has been working on a new concept phone called the Aura. Looking at the pictures of the mobile phone which is yet in its concept stage, it seems to look a lot like the newly launched Apple iPhone. We are sure that if Asus really gets down to commercially manufacturing the Asus Aura mobile phone, then a whole lot of Apple fans will be confused as to which one to buy.
The Asus Aura phone is only 9mm thin, and features a really cool 3.9” touch screen display, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth and miniUSB connectivity all packed into one slim phone. Wait, that’s not all. The Asus Aura will also have a microSD memory card slot, and is also 3G-ready.
Wow! With features like those, we wonder why Asus hadn’t come out with the Aura phone any sooner. If they do take the Asus Aura out of the concept mode, Apple will have yet another competitor to add to its list.

Since the launch of Apple iPhone, every other website is somehow trying, if not to prove that somehow iPhone is “no good”, then at-least comparing it with the phones which are not even out yet. Like in this case this concept phone or any other phone is not even close to what Apple has already launched. Not to mention that it is available in “4 GB” and “8 GB” and iPhone is a multi-touch screen, at the back end, Apple has a superior and time proven software to support the gadget, which up-till now Apple is known for. And we must never forget that this was just the launch of new concept in the world of mobile phone technology. Apple iPhone will evolve and will always stay ahead of its competitors.
Hi Dude nice concept i really like it. the look is very nice. definitely I will buy this phone. But the thing is pixel should be increase by at least 3 to 4 mega pixel. rest of the thing is ok. Please remind me whenever it will launch.

i’ve beeing repairing mobilephones almost 2 years and i saw a lot. the hardware is basically the same like other phones or pdas. if u take e.g. the Asus p525 and u put some Phone-SW like Skype u hanve the same phone! The one thing that the iPhone has, (wich other phones don’t have) is the nicely movie/picture software, and the beautyfull look! i’ll definitli by one! another thing is, its a little big….
But i must say that Apple will allwas be the first one who bings new stuff out!!
